Harpist Chiara Visentini

She began her harp studies at twelve years old with the famous italian harpist Mirella Vita and successfully graduated at the Conservatoire "Dall'Abaco" in Verona and then further improved with Judith Liber. She has held solo concerts and in chamber groups during prestigious festivals and has played as harp soloist in important settings all around Italy.
Nowadays she carries out her solo activity and she records for the collection "Anelli Musicali" of Edizioni Nomade Psichico record company.
Chiara's repertoire spaces from the Middle Ages to the Romanticism, and includes the folk: her great interest for celtic music tradition comes from travels in England, Ireland and Brittan, during which she has developed the discovery of the traditional melodies: Chiara has selected a repertoire of beautiful Irish, Scottish, British and Welsh pieces.
She has recorded four compact discs with solo harp music: Love songs (Edizioni Nomade Psichico, 2001),Musiche d'arpa per il matrimonio (Edizioni Marco Boni, 2004), Arpa celtica (Edizioni Nomade Psichico, 2006) e L'arpa celtica per il matrimonio (Edizioni Marco Boni, 2007).
